Middle Senior School Communications, 31 March 2022

Term 1, Week 10

Dear Parents and Carers

Although it has been an interrupted term, our Calvary community has adapted and rolled with the changes. Thank you for your understanding and patience during online learning and school closures. We have had an event-filled final week in the MSS. We enjoyed our Easter chapel, Eisteddfod, and tomorrow we will finally enjoy our twice postponed swimming carnival (parents are welcome to attend).

You are welcome and encouraged to attend Parent Teacher Student interviews in Week 2 of Term 2. I have attached a ‘how to’ guide on booking parent teacher student interviews to this communication. We want to work together with you to see your children succeed, so please, if your child is not doing well in a subject, book an appointment with the teacher and use this time to discuss strategies for improvement. You will find Term 1 feedback comments for each core subject and electives (9-12) available online at Parent Lounge.

Just as a reminder, when we return next term we will be wearing our winter uniform. Please ensure that your child has the right jumper to wear – sport jackets cannot be worn with formal uniforms. As a further uniform reminder, boys who are wanting longer hair need to ensure it is neatly tied and pinned up. Boys’ hair should be off the forehead, the collar, and the ears.

I would like to wish all our families a restful Easter break. If you don’t have a home church and would like to attend an Easter service, Real Life Christian Church would love to welcome you. You can find details for their Easter services here: REGISTER - REAL LIFE CHRISTIAN CHURCH (rlcc.com.au)
